Stirling Prize Awarded to Evelyn Grace Academy

Zaha Hadid Evelyn Grace Academy has won the Stirling Prize,  the aim of this is to recognise architects of a building that has made the greatest contribution to the evolution of architecture in the past year.

There has been a lot of reaction to this already so I thought I would put some links below.  This appears to be a very expensive school at over £3400 sq.m (usual region £1850/sq.m) and therefore a question remains on how this is perceived by the general public (similar to when the Scottish Parliament won).

The velodrome for me appears to be a great building for the Olympics next year.
